3D Modeling for Virtual Reality (Grades 3-12)

The 3D Modeling for Virtual Reality program introduces students to the creative and technical foundations of designing immersive digital spaces. Using professional grade 3D modeling software, students learn how ideas are translated into fully realized environments, developing spatial awareness, visual storytelling skills, and a strong understanding of digital design principles. Students explore how virtual worlds are constructed and how design choices shape user experience, encouraging both imagination and intentional thinking.

Throughout the experience, students engage with AI powered design tools that support refinement, optimization, and creative iteration. These tools allow students to focus on conceptual development while learning how emerging technologies can enhance workflow and problem solving. As their skills grow, students apply what they learn to create polished virtual environments that can be experienced through VR technology.

The program emphasizes creativity, critical thinking, and confidence building, positioning students not just as users of technology but as creators of future facing digital spaces. Students leave with a deeper understanding of how virtual environments are built and the skills needed to explore pathways in design, technology, and immersive media.
